TUESDAY IS ‘THE PLACE TO BE’

Although we have a wonderful group of volunteers supporting The Place to Be on Tuesdays, more are always welcome.  Some of our volunteers come in the late morning to help with the preparation, others turn up later to help with the serving of the soup at lunch time (1 pm) and others may only be available to help with the clearing up and washing up (from 2 pm).  Just as important are those church members who come along to have lunch and chat with our guests. So, if you have any free time on any Tuesday, we would love to see you.  Have a chat with Hilary or Nicky and/or get added to the WhatsApp group, so you will know when we need a bit of extra help.

The first Tuesday of each month the Church is open for a two course lunch for £5.50 - served from 1pm. The hall remains open until 4.00pm for people to chat or share in activities.

All other Tuesdays the church is open from 12.00 to 4pm for refreshments, games, puzzles and conversation. Soup, bread and pudding or cake will be available between 1 to 2 pm. No set charge on these days but donations are welcome.

DO FUN THINGS!

This is an informal social group where we can do fun things together: walks, cinema trips, outings, get-togethers etc.

Not everyone in the group goes to every ‘Fun Thing’ that is proposed, but if you want to hear about them or suggest something you would like to do, please contact Sue Shepperson: 07450 800035 or on sueshepperson@icloud.com
